Though many other cases against the board of education had sprung forth over the years, the Brown v. Board of education case was the final push to desegregation of schools on the idea that separate is never equal. Thurgood Marshall won the case against The Board of Education. This brought much change as all schools across the country were forced to desegregate. This especially became a problem in the south where desegregation was not liked by the people or many other government officials.
because of this action, schools became united. this was important because it helped sooth racial alienation in the youth of America.
