Civil Disobedience
what is civil disobedience?
Civil disobedience is a form of protest that braked certain laws. Not laws that have obvious use in society but the unjust laws used to oppress people. This form of protest was easy to do but also could be put to extremes. Performing an act of civil disobedience was as easy as an African American taking a sip from the whites only water fountain to sitting near the front of the bus. All acts were small but still made a statement in the civil rights movement as people began to be arrested for the minor law breaks. Many of the other forms of protest connect with the protest method of civil disobedience like sit ins and even marches. Martin Luther Kind encouraged civil disobedience to end the unjust laws in America. It's impact has changed the way laws are made today (History).
